Our diversity training courses are designed so that participants learn to recognize and understand both primary (unchangeable) and secondary (changeable) dimensions of diversity. We explore the reasons why diversity is valuable to us as individuals, community members, colleagues, and as organizations. The course covers topics including how to recruit, hire, manage, and retain employees from diverse backgrounds. Participants become acquainted with how to navigate group dynamics, culture conflict and resolution, and also how to improve manager-employee communications. The goal of the class is to increase workforce effectiveness while reducing the types of interactions that often lead to employment claims.
