Heidi Feigles, Esq., a senior labor and employment attorney, brings her extensive counseling, compliance and transactions experience to EPS and now provides consulting and training services designed to prevent employment claims, correct personnel problems and enhance employee relations. Her broad based experience, as both in-house counsel and at law firms, includes proactive counseling on all aspects of employment and labor law; conducting investigations in complex, high-risk situations; performing detailed and comprehensive HR audits; drafting and implementing user-friendly HR policies, forms and procedures; developing and presenting practical training to managers, HR professionals and employees on the full range of employment topics; and providing strategic oversight of employment related aspects of M&A, divestiture and outsourcing, as well as, ensuring legally compliant, cost effective and successful integrations.
Prior to joining EPS in 2010, Heidi spent eleven years as Senior Labor & Employment Counsel at Motorola, Inc. and General Instrument Corporation (which was acquired by Motorola in 2000) where she managed legal exposure by providing advice to senior management and HR clients regarding employee hiring, discipline and termination; protection of trade secrets and confidential information; workforce reductions; employment related contract development and negotiation; ethics and compliance; compensation and benefits; and, litigation and charge management. Prior to that, Heidi was an employment litigator with large New York City law firms where she regularly represented and advised employers with respect to sexual harassment and discrimination litigations and conducted investigations, prepared position statements and represented clients in EEOC fact finding and mediation sessions.
Heidi earned a B.A. in prelaw from Penn State University and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York and is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. |
