Our hiring and interviewing course focuses on the necessity of accurate job descriptions, the range of recruiting methods, effectively handling job applicants and offers, background and reference checking, fairly and effectively selecting among applicants, avoiding discrimination claims, and the impact of affirmative action policies on the recruiting process. Participants learn effective interviewing skills, including what types of questions should and should not be asked during an interview, and the types of questions that solicit valuable insight with respect to the applicants skills and talent.
