One-on-One Sensitivity Coaching

Correct employee misconduct with one-on-one sensitivity training from EPS.One-on-one sensitivity coaching by an EPS human resource expert is an important tool for the correction of employee misconduct, including allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination and performance issues. When workplace behavior may not warrant termination and you are prepared to invest in the rehabilitation of a high-potential employee, EPS's one-on-one coaching is the ideal solution.

An EPS consultant knowledgeable about employment law and skilled in the resolution of employee relations issues works individually with your employee to:

    • Educate the employee on the legal and policy reasons why his/her conduct is problematic;
    • Commit the employee to a plan for behavioral modification based upon specific and measurable individual goals; and
    • Minimize the likelihood of future problems, thereby bolstering your legal defenses should complaints lead to lawsuits.

The material covered in and EPS one-on-one coaching session depends upon the individual employee's needs, but may include such topics as:

    • Harassment based upon sex and other protected categories (race, religion, national origin, etc.)
    • Discrimination
    • Diversity Issues
    • Effective Communication
    • Anger Management
    • Conflict Resolution
    • Management Skills
    • Teambuilding

EPS consultants work closely with clients to analyze the employee's needs and devise a coaching plan to instill and reinforce important principles. Although there is no one-size-fits-all approach to executive coaching, three to five counseling sessions of two to four hours are usually sufficient to accomplish all the outlined objectives.

At the conclusion of the executive coaching process, EPS provides clients with a letter summarizing the steps taken, the topics covered, and the employee's degree of engagement and responsiveness. This letter memorializes the fact that the organization has taken serious action to address a known personnel problem.
