Tanya Andrews Tate, Esq., is a native of Atlanta who practiced in the area of employment law for 15 years. Specifically, over the years she has represented hundreds of clients in employment related litigation matters, including matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, FMLA and FLSA. She also counseled employers on a regular basis as to complex employment law issues (i.e., hiring, firing, discipline, reduction in force), in addition to drafting and reviewing their policies, procedures, and non-compete and non-solicit agreements, and delivering training on various topics to all levels.
In addition, Tanya is a trained mediator and mediates employment law disputes. Tanya received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a Callaway Scholar and a member of Moot Court and the Moot Court Board. She received her Bachelor of Journalism magna cum laude, with high honors, from the University of Georgia Honor’s Program.
Tanya has been given the "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named on multiple occasions as Georgia Rising Star "Super Lawyer" in the area of employment law. In addition, while practicing, her firm was awarded the Pinnacle Award in 2009 by her local Chamber of Commerce as one of the top 25 small businesses in the county. |
