Star Bobatoon, Esq. is an accomplished attorney, dynamic trainer and award-winning speaker. With over a decade of performance on stage, television and the big screen, Star’s high-energy and engaging style makes a lasting impact on her audiences and clients. Star’s background in employment litigation and diversity counseling, allows her to connect with diverse audiences further enhancing her effectiveness as a speaker, trainer and executive coach.
As a consultant for EPS, Star conducts investigations, training and executive coaching relating to workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, conduct and ethics violations and other employee misconduct. She also does significant work in the areas of leadership and communication.
After earning her law degree from UCLA Law School in 2001, Star gained employment law and diversity experience as a Diversity Associate in the Corporate Diversity Counseling Group of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and as an Employment Litigation Associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP in both Los Angeles, CA and Washington, DC.
During her tenure at Davis Wright Tremaine, Star consulted with Fortune 500 companies on various corporate diversity and employment issues. She conducted workplace investigations, analyzed diversity policies and initiatives, and designed enhancements.
As an employment litigation associate at Bingham McCutchen, Star defended harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, Title VII and class action wage and hour disputes in state and federal courts.
Star has had the honor of speaking and training both nationally and internationally with motivational icon Les Brown. As former Program Manager for Les Brown’s speaker training program Star created programs, facilitated training and coached new speakers.
A magna cum laude graduate from California State University Los Angeles, Star is currently licensed to practice in California and Washington D.C.
