Rachelle Berlin Weathersby, Esq., has a wide-ranging background in conducting employee complaint investigations and conducting training on how to prevent these issues. Prior to joining EPS, Rachelle practiced law with the firm of Thomas L. Case & Associates in Dallas, Texas, where she successfully defended Fortune 500 and small employers in a myriad of employment discrimination and wrongful termination cases from inception through trial or settlement.
During her ten-plus years with EPS, Rachelle has conducted hundreds of training sessions for a wide variety of entities, including those in the retail, hospitality, sales, manufacturing, legal, financial, restaurant, staffing, energy, and information technology industries. Rachelle firmly believes in the importance of “keeping it real” during her training sessions, and is not only engaging with participants, but also provides many real-world examples to make her sessions relevant. Rachelle is also an experienced investigator who addressees internal employment issues in a thorough, timely, and cost-sensitive manner, while also respecting the personal dignity of the individuals involved.
Rachelle has spoken at many seminars on preventing workplace discrimination claims, including the 2000-2003 and 2005 SHRM HR Southwest Conferences. In addition to her employee relations training throughout the U.S., Rachelle has cross-cultural training experience, having provided sexual harassment training abroad for the local employees of a US-based entity operating in Asia.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and her Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University. Rachelle joined EPS in 1999.
