Rachel McIntyre, Esq. has more than 10 years of in-house corporate business and legal affairs experience, during which she has partnered with and advised senior management and human resources on all aspects of employment and security matters while ensuring that business productivity was maintained and that resolution was in alignment with company culture, policies and business goals.
Rachel has worked with both public and privately held marketing and advertising agencies. She has designed and implemented nation-wide training on Harassment Prevention and Security Best Practices. Specifically, she served as Associate Corporate Counsel for Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG) assigned to DraftFcb in Chicago, Illinois, where she oversaw business and employment matters including: employee relations, internal investigations, hiring practices, employee improvement plans and terminations, compliance with Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, state statutes, immigration laws, internal policies and Corporate Codes of Conduct.
Prior to her in-house work, Rachel served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.
Rachel is a certified mediator by the L.A. County Bar Association’s Center for Civic Mediation (CCM). She currently serves as a volunteer mediator/coach for the CCM and The Western Justice Center. Rachel received her B.A. in English from the University of Oregon and her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. |
