Beth Moss, Esq., joined EPS in October 2010 after 17 years of practicing as an employment lawyer for various firms and corporations. Beth has trained management and employees and has had speaking engagements on numerous HR-related topics, including prevention of discrimination and harassment, conducting investigations, avoiding leave issues, prevention of violence in the workplace, effective reductions in force and alternatives to RIF’s, performance management, proper workforce classification, and protecting proprietary information.

Beth has conducted, or supported HR and global ethics professionals in the conducting of, countless investigations of internal employee complaints as well as administrative and court complaints. Beth’s expertise in training and investigating matters comes from successfully handling hundreds of administrative charges and court complaints, drafting and counseling on the application of HR, compensation and ethics policies, conducting wage and hour audits, advising on restructuring and other business initiatives and for many years providing day-to-day advice to HR and management.

Immediately before joining EPS, Beth worked for six years as Assistant General Counsel with Pitney Bowes, advising on matters throughout North America. Before that Beth was in-house counsel with MetLife for five years and outside counsel in New York and Connecticut for almost seven years. Beth is admitted to both the New York and Connecticut bars. She received her law degree from Cornell Law School in 1993 and her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in 1990.
